Math & Reading

Everyday Mathematics curriculum focuses on applying math in the real world and understanding processes that will help a student arrive at a solution, rather than rote memorization.

Success For All Reading curriculum groups students by ability in reading classes for 90 minutes each day. They not only receive reading instruction, but learn to appreciate literature, polish their writing talent, and build critical thinking skills.

Each year more than 13 million students, 850,000 educators, and 27,000 schools participate in fundraisers to support the  Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For Rampart, this is our Bald for Bucks assembly. Rampart has now donated more than a quarter million dollars to LLS.

This would not have been possible without the support of Mountain Ridge Middle School, and Academy Endeavour, High Plains, and Academy International elementary schools.

Rampart was hoping to raise $73,000 to hit the $500,000 mark in donations. They did it!  Together our community raised $80,740.78 this year. This puts our total donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at $510,009.23!  Thanks for all your support and enthusiasm for this great cause each year.

We raised $89,066! This makes Rampart High School the #1 school in the nation for the second year in a row. AEES raised over $4,000 of that. Thank you for all your support!

Bald for Bucks and the entire Rampart community raised $81,830.41 This total placed the Rampart High School community as #1 in the nation!

If you shaved, donated, volunteered, or even attended a Bald for Bucks assembly, Thank you!

We are honored to support the patients and families that wake up each day facing another day of battling cancer. They are our inspiration and the reason we do what we do.

Parent Involvement

We encourage parent involvement and volunteerism. Parent committees include PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) and SAC (School Accountability Committee).

Character Education

Teaching the District 20 core principles is a cornerstone of AEES. The values of: respect, responsibility, hope, courage, perseverance, excellence, citizenship, compassion, integrity, and honesty are modeled and taught each day. In turn, we use them as springboards for all discussions regarding behavior and discipline

Core Principles

The students follow a 6 week rotation. They have the same special 5 days in a row. They participate in Spanish, Music, Art, Physical Education, Technology and Counseling.
