Carrie Mitchell, Principal
Welcome to Academy Endeavour Elementary!
I’m honored and excited to begin the 2025-25 year as your Principal. This marks my 25th year in education—all of them proudly spent at the best school in Academy District 20: AEES!
I began my teaching career at Academy Endeavour—formerly Academy Edison Elementary—in 2001. Over the years, I’ve taught kindergarten, first, and second grades, and also served as an interventionist, teacher coach, and Assistant Principal.
A bit about me: I was born and raised in central Illinois on a Christmas tree farm. While I’m a Midwesterner at heart, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the beauty of Colorado’s mountains. I moved here at 21 and never looked back!
My husband, Sean, and I have been married since 2003. He works in GPS with the Air Force and will soon transition to the Space Force. We have two wonderful children—Talon, a senior at Rampart High School, and Claire, a fifth grader right here at Academy Endeavour. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting loved ones, and exploring new places.
I truly love working alongside the students, families, and staff of AEES. To me, Endeavour is a hidden gem within Academy District 20—a school defined by its caring community, collaborative spirit, and commitment to high expectations. We take pride in providing a well-rounded, enriching experience that prepares our students for success at the next level.
Go Astronauts!
Molly Lehman, Assistant Principal
It is a true privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal of Academy Endeavour Elementary School!
The 2025-26 school year marks my 16th year at AEES. Throughout my time here, I’ve had the joy of teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as supporting students and staff as the MTSS Coordinator and interventionist. I'm grateful for the chance to grow into this new role and continue serving the school I care so deeply about.
A little about me: I grew up in Monument, Colorado, and still call it home. My husband, Jeff, and I have been married since 2011, and we have two wonderful sons: Will, a 6th grader at Mountain Ridge Middle School, and Max, a 4th grader right here at AEES! As a family, we love spending time outdoors, playing and watching sports, enjoying movies, and discovering new places to explore. We also have two lively Golden Retrievers, Penny and Poppy, who keep us entertained with their playful antics!
I truly love the Academy Endeavour community. We are fortunate to have incredible students, supportive families, and dedicated staff. From our warm, inclusive culture to our shared commitment to continuous growth, AEES is a truly special place—and I’m proud to be part of it.
Looking forward to a fantastic year together!
